Tiffany Fitzgerald, Founder and CEO of Black Girls Golf, LLC, recently held the 2018 Kickoff Party at the Purple Corkscrew in Avondale Estates.  The purpose of the event was to provide current and potential members information about what to expect during the 2018 Black Girls Golf calendar year.  Those who attended the party were served with a wide selection of appetizers, desserts prepared by Harlem Girl Treats, and a selection of wines to choose from served by the gracious bartenders at the Purple Corkscrew.

Black Girls Golf is headquartered in Atlanta, Ga and has over 3000 members throughout the US and as far as South Africa.  The organization has been featured in Golf Digest as well as the Golf Channel.  Black Girls Golf was founded by Tiffany for the purpose of increasing the presence of African American women in the game of golf. Through group learning activities and golf outings, providing fun ways to gain confidence in the game is one of the goals of the organization.
